I wish to learn from the BBC hair stylists

I wish to meet the people who do hair for BBC historical productions, particularly those who did the hair for the six-hour Pride & Prejudice.

I want to know how to do the gorgeous hair styles that lend such grace and elegance to their wearers. I can make guesses at some, but would love to know if my guesses are accurate. Others I can't even begin to figure out. (Sometimes these are very simple styles, but I have no clue if a braid is not involved.)

I would also love to know if the hair styles are actually authentic to the periods represented. Even receiving links/references to print resources would be helpful to me.

The only thing I can think to offer in return is to teach any of the braids I know but that the stylists may not - i.e., 4 strand, 5-strand, 6-strand, etc. (most of which are already on my site anyway.) Oh, or maybe a plate of cookies. Those are generally welcome.

If anyone knows how to contact a BBC hair stylist for historical films, please give them my contact info - braider!@dreamweaverbraiding.com (remove the ! when you use the address). I've already tried contacting the BBC website, but they are unable to track down the production team this many years after filming.

If you are able to help me, I'll give you credit on this page.
